A Life in Harmony Starts at Home
I am clearly not the only one embracing the Christmas spirit, as the Waldorf Astoria has also put up their Christmas Tree.
The Waldorf also happens to the be location of Blair’s favorite cafe: Petit Margeaux (yes my dog has a favorite cafe), so I will certainly be seeing a lot of this beauty over the next two months!

Have you ever been served a plate of food that was soo perfect it literally took your breath away?
That happened to me this weekend at Pierrot Gourmet, the French cafe at the Peninsula hotel. It was a beautiful Sunday, and it felt like the perfect time to take advantage of the fresh air and the glorious heaters on the patio of the cafe.
I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup and was beyond thrilled when the plate pictured above was placed in front of me. The baguette sandwich, the green salad with a light lemon vinaigrette, the cheesy salty wonder that is French Onion Soup, and let us not overlook those three delightful gherkins… it all added up to perfection.
It might not have been a major life event, but it reminded me to be grateful for all that I have, and to always remember to stop and truly appreciate the moment. It also reminded me that I do truly love a good piece of bread 🙂
I have always trusted in the wisdom of animals, and I also find value in consulting oracle cards. Combine the two and you have the most beautiful Spirit Animal Oracle deck pictured above (There is absolutely no shame in appreciating beauty in your metaphysical practices!).
I love this oracle deck not only because it is aesthetically pleasing, but I also feel like the cards I pull always deliver pertinent messages. I pull one card to read on days where I am just looking for a little guidance. I have also completed some of the more complex layouts that are explained in the card guidebook (not pictured), to investigate more detailed questions. Both methods work!
The universe tries to talk to all of us, why not help it deliver its message!
Maybe one day I will stop posting halloween yard displays… but not anytime soon!

The sunglasses pictured above were a dollar bin find at Target. I plan on wearing them on the boat on the 4th and if they fall into the lake… I won’t be devastated!
