Well if Winter is going to stick around for a while, we might as well make the most of our time inside and partake in some light reading!
Match Making for Beginners by Maddie Dawson is by far the cutest book I have read this year. I’m not normally a huge fan of “cute” stories but this one totally won me over. I don’t want to give too much away about the plot because I think everyone should read this book and enjoy it for herself. This book is seriously so fun, like a perfectly constructed Rom-Com you want to watch again and again.
I don’t want to give too much away, however I will say this, if life ever throws you curveballs and you feel like your whole life is crumbling, that might just be the best thing to ever happen to you! I love stories that incorporate just the right amount of “woo woo” magic into their storyline and this one certainly delivers! The “wacky” character at the start of the novel who sends people light and believes in the power of the universe… isn’t so wacky after all! Also, I love the message of never settling for anything less than a big life!
I am making a conscious effort at the moment to only consume media/entertainment that is uplifting and positive and this book was the perfect read! Let it bring a little “Sparkle” (that will make sense after you read it!) into your life!
Happy reading and stay warm!
