If yesterday’s post was all about taking a break, today’s post is all about reconnecting
According to an article I read earlier this week, today is known as “Blackout Wednesday.” Apparently, this is due to restaurants and bars noticing in recent years a huge uptick in alcohol sales on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Now, I am not about to suggest you go out and get blackout drunk as that is always a bad idea. I do think however; it is a nice idea to take some time today/tonight to reconnect with friends in a social setting. Chances are you will be spending all day tomorrow with family, so use this opportunity to reconnect with people who might not be at your Thanksgiving feast but are still important people in your life.
Connecting with others is such an important part of the whole “being human” experience and though we should be connecting year round, this week provides an especially great opportunity to get together with those we care about and strengthen our bond.
