Even if a vacation to an exotic getaway isn’t on your horizon this summer, you can still smell like a jetsetter.

Changing up my personal scent each season is one of my favorite ways to shake things up. Just as your clothing and beauty routine vary depending upon the time of year, your scent wardrobe also needs updating and adjustments throughout the year. I like to create a signature sent or two for each season and try to vary them from year to year so it never gets to predictable.

The picture captured above is that of my new summer signature scent combo, which I am naming “The Greek Island Getaway”. This layered combo includes some of my favorite standbys and a new to me Diptyqe scent.

The combo starts with a base of Lavanilla Pure Vanilla, this is the OG of my scent arsenal and is the base of all of my favorite perfume pairings. I then like to use the “spray and walk away” technique to apply Bobbi Brown Beach. This scent has been a fan favorite for years and reminds its most steadfast devotees of wonderful summer days spent in the sun. Its naysayers will say the scent reminds them of Coppertone sunscreen. I love that hint of Coppertone for any summer scent because to me the slight scent of sunscreen reminds me of all my best summer days. To top off the fragrance combo I lightly spray Philosykos by Diptyque. The scent mimics t walking through a grove of fig trees on a Greek Island. Yup that sounds good to me.

When I wear this fragrance combo I am immediately transported to my mega yacht on the Mediterranean. Glass of Champagne in hand and not a care in the world. So the yacht may be fictional, but the scent vacation is still fabulous and I highly recommend it!
