In these trying times we could all use a guiding light, and for me that light will always be Martha Stewart, who just so happens to have a new show Martha Knows Best that premiered on HGTV earlier this month! Each episode Martha focuses on a new topic: IE gardening, pets, tree care. The episodes are full of helpful tips and classic Martha quips that fill me with delight. Two new episodes are released each Friday and I love to record them and save them when I need them most!
I have always found Martha Stewart to be both aspirational but also super comforting. She knows how to make things nice but also has a great sense of humour, two traits I hold with great regard. This show was filmed during lockdown, so it feels very of the moment. It is also the perfect way to spend a relaxing evening in these not quite normal times.
As Martha herself would say “It’s a good thing”
