I recently learned about Spoonflower.com and it is seriously one of the coolest sites out there. It is also a design lovers dream!
The website offers fabric (with over 25 different material options), wallpaper and wrapping paper in an amazing array of designs all created by independent designers. You also have the ability to customize existing designs. If you see a design you like but would like to change certain aspects, you can contact the designer through the site and have them adapt their work. How awesome is that??
If you yourself are a creative type you can get your own designs printed. You also have the option to sell your designs to others. Every designer gets their own “shop” on the site to showcase their goods. This could be an awesome (and low risk) way to introduce your work to the world, for anyone looking to get started!
The best part is that there are no ordering minimums and Spoonflower.com has flexible printing policies (check out their Fill-a-Yard ™ tab on the website) where you only have to buy what you need for a given project.
