Welcome back after the long weekend! I hope everyone had a fun and safe time!
Today on the blog I want to share another really cool local brand: Suki & Solaine. Suki & Solaine is an ethically-made clothing and accessories line designed and manufactured in Chicago. I first discovered the brand several years ago at Dose Market and fell in love with their unique textiles and silhouettes. The fact that they are a small designer means that unlike when you purchase mass-produced goods, when you wear pieces from this brand, you will never have to worry about seeing 10 people on the street wearing the same thing. This is your opportunity to let your individuality show!
You can currently shop Suki & Solaine at their pop-up shop on 1872 N. Damen in Bucktown. I had the pleasure of attending their pop-up shop opening celebration and have to say it was awesome to get to see such a large selection of their goods in person in one place. I was especially excited to see their new feminist line WOMYN with 25% of proceeds from each piece going to a designated charity (shopping for charity might just be my favorite charity work haha). If you don’t live in the area check out their webshop here. I personally am a huge fan of their bomber jackets and scarves.
If you would like to invest in some unique fashions definitely check out this brand!
