Mother’s Day is just around the corner (This Sunday to be exact). I am thankful for my mom every single day and don’t ever take for granted all that she has done for my brothers and me. Honestly, had she not been around we would not have made it; my Dad would have lost us in some sports stadium years ago (not really joking on this one). How do you thank someone you literally owe your life to? Well its pretty impossible to ever find a gift that fully captures all of the gratitude I have for my mom, but here is my round up of gift ideas that are at least a start.
1) Eat Beautiful by Wendy Rowe : I was given this book as a birthday present a couple of weeks ago and I must say I am in love. Not only is the cover beautiful (yup totally judged a book by its cover haha). The recipes inside are incredible. The book is divided by season and the Pomegranate Spring Salad is my current obsession.
2) Ringly: This piece of jewelry comes in different metal finishes and stone options (there is also a cocktail ring style in addition to the bracelet). The coolest part though is that it is essentially a stylish fitbit that links up to your smart phone (are we still calling them smartphones? I think we are.). This tracks steps but also will alert your mom when you call and text.
3&4) Joe Malone Bath Oil and Candle: Chances are whether you meant to or not you have probably majorly stressed your mom out from time to time. I can think of no better or more luxurious way to help her relax than with this candle bath oil duo. Moms deserve some time (all the time in the world) to unwind and this is the perfect gift.
5) Infuser Water Bottle: Confession, this is something I actually really want for myself. This glass bottle comes with a metal insert that allows you to infuse your own water on the go. In my opinion infused water is basically the only way one should ever drink water. This is a super convenient way to enjoy the delicious benefits of infused water when you are at work or out and about. Fill your infuser with ingredients in the morning (orange is a personal fave) then go about your day refilling with water at your convenience.
6) Barefoot Dreams Throw Blanket: Oprah once named this as one of her favorite things, and it is definitely my favorite thing in my home. This throw blanket lives with me on my couch and I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the coziest blanket that just gets softer with time. It also comes in a ton of different color and print options so there is sure to be one that matches your Mom’s home perfectly!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers out there!
