I am currently reading Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. After hearing all of the hype surrounding the novel we decided to read it for my book club and I must say I am quite pleased with that decision.
I don’t want to give to much away, but the story takes place in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, during the 90’s. There is mystery, there is drama, and there is an explanation of some heavy yet also universal human themes from a variety of view points.
This is one of the first books I have read in a while where I have actually savored the experience of reading it each night, especially when curled up in a nice cozy blanket like those pictured above. Reading should never feel like a chore, but instead should be a luxurious and relaxing experience (spoken like a true Taurus, I know).
There is nothing better than reading a book and transporting yourself to a different time, place, world, all from the comfort of your home.
