Sheet masks might be one of the greatest beauty advancements of our time. Hear me out on this one.
You get to choose a mask based on whatever corrections/enhancements your skin needs that day. There are literally so many options to choose from you can find treatment masks for issues you didn’t even realize you could/should address! Each mask is single use, so there is very low commitment and if you don’t love the results you don’t have to either suffer through or throw away a whole bottle of product. Basically equipped with a couple of sheet masks you can feel like a semi professional esthetician at a fraction of the cost.
When I stumbled upon this Lapcos variety pack at Anthropologie (you get seven masks and a bonus exfoliating pad in the set) I had to give them a try. I have since enjoyed the pack so much I had to go back and get a second batch (oops!). Each of these masks has a specific task you can read about here. My personal favorite is the Aqua mask which transforms my windblown super dry face to levels of softness I didn’t think were achievable in the wintery conditions we are still experiencing (Spring… where are you?). Pearl is another fan favorite. I like to use sheet masks twice a week, and I make myself lay down and relax for twenty minutes while wearing the mask. Sometimes I read and other times I just close my eyes and attempt to meditate. It is so easy in this day and age to constantly feel the need to go, go, go, so it is imperative to incorporate some mental/physical down time with your beauty self care routine.
Glowing and relaxed is the best way to start any week!
