So in less than a week the temperature dropped 40 degrees (soo dramatic) and the humidity went from totally unbearable to nonexistent (also dramatic). As a result my hands suffered the consequences and over night turned as dry as the Sahara desert.
Not one to take dry skin lightly, I realized it was time to matters into my own hands (quite literally and figuratively). The two products I turned to were the Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom (coconut makes everything better) and The Beauty Counter Hand Cream pictured above. After just two applications my hands feel fully revived, I applied the duo once right when I got home from pilates last night and a second application following dinner and washing dishes. The dry skin is officially banished, and this will be my new hand care regime for the foreseeable future. The key is to first apply the Balm Dotcom, then let it sink in for a minute or two before sealing in the moisture with the Beauty Counter Hand Cream. Your hands will feel moisturized but not greasy (no one needs greasy hands!). Fall dryness be gone!
