
Some people like to celebrate St. Patty’s overindulging in green beer.
I personally like to celebrate the occasion with a perfectly over the top Fika. I picked up this pot of gold at the Peninsula Hotel’s cafe: Pierrot Gourmet. Basically it is a chocolate pot, filled with layers of chocolate cake and chocolate mousse, topped off with some coco nibs that have been painted gold. As far as themed desserts go, this one takes the cake!
Since I love on theme color coordination, a nice warm matcha latte was the only option for this pairing. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up, that put me in a festive mood and made me excited for the holiday!
Now, onto the weekend where it is time to have some fun! For everyone celebrating St. Patty’s this weekend: have a great time, be silly but most importantly be safe!
